I know what it takes to keep a business moving.
I’m Mass Lambresa. I founded my first business 23 years ago and have spent much of my working life building and running businesses.
I know the excitement of growth. I also know what happens when the systems behind it struggle to keep up and the founder becomes the person holding everything together.
That experience is the starting point for ShadowWorks.
I have been on the founder’s side of the conversation.
Running a business takes you into every part of it. Over the years, I have worked across sales, finance, marketing, technology and operations, often dealing with the gaps between them.
You want to focus on the opportunities ahead, but there are questions to answer, information to chase and problems that somehow keep finding their way back to you.
I understand why that happens. I also understand how difficult it can be to step back and change the way the business works while you are busy keeping it moving.
Why I now focus on AI.
As I have developed my knowledge and practical experience with AI, I have kept returning to the same thought: I wish these possibilities had been available when I was dealing with those pressures myself.
There is scope to do much more than draft an email or ask a chatbot a question. With the right processes and oversight, AI can help people find information, prepare work and connect activities that currently rely on repeated manual effort.
My focus is on understanding where that is useful, making the approach practical and helping put it into use.
Business judgement and hands-on delivery.
I start by asking how the business makes money, where time is being lost and what is making growth harder.
Then we work out what should change. That might mean simplifying a process, using existing software better, connecting tools or building an AI-assisted workflow.
I can help shape the plan and stay involved in implementation. Where a project needs additional specialist expertise, that should be identified and agreed as part of the scope.
Build a business that depends less on you being everywhere.
For me, the aim is a more efficient business with greater capacity, better information and more room to grow profitably.
When the operation works better, the founder has more space to lead it and, over time, more freedom to enjoy what they have worked so hard to build.
That is the kind of improvement I want ShadowWorks to help create.
